Aqara CH-C01 G2H Pro Camera 1080P

Aqara G2H Pro surveillance camera and home automation controller. Aqara G2H Pro combines a surveillance camera intended for indoor use and a home automation controller. As many as 128* Aqaran Zigbee devices can be connected to the controller and at the same time the device works as a surveillance camera. The camera is connected to a wireless Wi-FI network.

Aqara G2H Pro is an updated version of the G2H camera. The biggest changes are a wider 146° field of view, support for as many as 128 Zigbee devices, improved support for different virtual assistants and support for a larger memory card. With the help of a memory card, G2H Pro also supports recording on a NAS network disk. In addition to active detection zones (activizy zones), the camera also supports the setting of privacy masking zones as a new feature.

The resolution of the camera is Full HD 1920 x 1080p with a 146 degree wide field of view. By default, the camera makes recordings on a separately purchased microSD memory card (max. 512 GB) and the camera also supports two-way audio. The camera can also be used in the dark thanks to the IR night vision. In addition to these, the camera has support for Apple’s HomeKit Secure Video. HomeKit Secure Video provides end-to-end encrypted video and data security. For this function, you must have an Apple iCloud storage subscription of at least 50 GB, an Apple TV, iPad or HomePod speaker acting as a home station, and you also need a compatible iOS device (iPhone, iPad). G2H Pro now also includes HomeKit Security System support. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant virtual assistants are also supported.

You can create rules and automations between Aqara accessories added to the G2H Pro hub. GH2 Pro immediately sends a notification if something happens. The event can also be seen from the camera’s timeline (e.g. the motion detector detected movement).

Works with the Aqara app. Only camera compatible with Apple HomeKit. Additional Zigbee devices added to the Hub are not accessible through the HomeKit/Koti application. Does not work as an Apple HomeKit home hub.

*If more than 32 Zigbee devices are added to the hub, there must be Zigbee MESH devices in use, such as sockets, which extend the range of the Zigbee network.
