Ajax CombiProtect Wireless Security Sensor

The Ajax CombiProtect Black is a wireless combined detector that integrates motion and glass break detection into a single, compact device. It’s designed for indoor installation and effectively protects premises from intrusion by offering dual security: reacting to human movement and the sound of breaking glass. Its black color allows the detector to blend discreetly into modern interiors.

This detector utilizes a passive infrared (PIR) sensor for motion detection with a coverage angle of 88.5° horizontal and 80° vertical, capable of detecting motion up to 12 meters away. It features pet immunity, meaning it ignores pets weighing up to 20 kg and standing up to 50 cm tall, thus minimizing false alarms. For glass break detection, an electret microphone is used, sensing the sound of breaking glass up to 9 meters away with a 180° angle. The sensitivity of both sensors is adjustable across three levels, allowing for adaptation to specific environments.

Ajax CombiProtect employs Ajax’s proprietary Jeweller radio technology, ensuring secure and encrypted two-way communication with the Ajax Hub up to 1200 meters in open space. This guarantees lightning-fast alarm signal delivery (approximately 0.15 seconds). The detector is equipped with temperature compensation, ensuring effective detection across various temperatures (from -10°C to +40°C). Thanks to a pre-installed CR123A battery, its operation time can reach up to 5 years, reducing maintenance needs. The device also features two tampers that signal attempts to detach the detector from its mount or open its casing, thus providing high anti-sabotage protection.
