Ajax DoorProtect Plus Door / Window Opening Sensor

Protects against unauthorized entry through doors and open windows, including skylights. Detects opening, changes in vertical tilt, vibration, and impacts on doors or windows, and instantly sends an alarm signal to the Ajax Hub. The Ajax DoorProtect Plus sensor can be installed on all types of windows and doors, including metal ones.

Principle of Operation: The sensor consists of two parts: a reed switch and a magnet (two magnets included: a large one with a working range of up to 2 cm, and a small one with up to 1 cm). In the normal state, both parts are closed, and the reed switch is influenced by the magnetic field. When the window or door is opened, the magnet is removed from the reed switch, breaking the contact, and the Ajax Hub receives an alarm signal.

Features: The sensor is equipped with an accelerometer to detect deviations of the device in the vertical plane by more than 5°, as well as to detect impacts or vibrations.

DoorProtect Plus can be installed on windows, including skylights, and the system can be armed even when the windows are in ventilation mode (by disabling the magnetic sensor in settings).

Installation and Setup: The magnetic contact sensor with impact and tilt detection, DoorProtect Plus, is ready to use right out of the box: the battery is pre-installed, and there’s no need to open the casing. It connects to the Ajax Hub in one click using the QR code. Installation takes just a few minutes using the SmartBracket mount.
