Ajax MotionProtect Plus Wireless motion sensor

The Ajax MotionProtect Plus White is functionally identical to the black version, differing only in its color. It is a wireless combined motion and microwave detector with pet immunity, designed to detect motion indoors while ignoring pets and preventing false alarms from heat sources. Its white color helps the detector blend discreetly into lighter interiors.

This detector combines a passive infrared (PIR) sensor and a microwave (MW) sensor. This combination provides higher accuracy and resistance to false alarms that can be triggered by air conditioners, fireplaces, curtains moving in the wind, or other heat sources. It can detect motion up to 12 meters away with an 88.5° horizontal and 80° vertical coverage angle. The detector is immune to pets weighing up to 20 kg and standing up to 50 cm tall.

Ajax MotionProtect Plus employs Ajax’s proprietary Jeweller radio technology, ensuring secure and encrypted two-way communication with the Ajax Hub up to 1200 meters in open space. This guarantees lightning-fast alarm signal delivery – in just approximately 0.15 seconds. The detector is equipped with temperature compensation and can operate within a wide temperature range from -10°C to +40°C. Its operating life can reach up to 5 years on a pre-installed CR123A battery. The detector also includes tamper protection, signaling any attempts to detach it from its mount or open its casing.
