Ajax ReX Smart Home Range Extender

The Ajax ReX is an intelligent wireless signal range extender designed to significantly increase the reception range of all Ajax security system devices and enhance their communication with the central unit (Hub). The black color ensures a discreet and modern appearance that easily blends into any interior. It is ideal for larger premises, multi-story buildings, detached garages, or industrial facilities where the standard radio signal might be insufficient.

ReX acts as a reliable intermediary between the Hub and connected Ajax devices, taking over their control and ensuring continuous operation even if communication with the Hub is interrupted. This means that even if the connection to the central unit is lost, ReX will continue to monitor the connected devices and, for example, activate the siren if an intrusion is detected. Utilizing Ajax’s Jeweller radio technology, ReX provides two-way encrypted communication with a range of up to 1800 meters in open space. This guarantees fast alarm signal delivery (within 0.3 seconds) and seamless event transmission.

ReX is resilient to interference and tampering attempts thanks to its built-in anti-sabotage protection and jamming detection functionality. It operates on OS Malevich, which ensures system stability and immunity to viruses and software vulnerabilities. The device is equipped with a built-in lithium-ion backup battery (2 Ah), providing up to 35 hours of autonomous operation in case of a power outage. Installation is exceptionally simple, thanks to the SmartBracket mounting panel and QR code scanning in the Ajax mobile app. Up to five ReX extenders can be connected to the system (depending on the Hub model), providing extensive coverage.
