The optimized combination of housing and fans significantly improves the ratio of cooling performance to noise and can reduce noise by up to 8 dB(A), while the temperatures of the installed components remain at a comparable level. Modern NF-A14x25 G2 and NF-A12x25 G2 fans are used, which work significantly quieter with the same flow rate, with neighboring fans operating at slightly offset speeds in order to avoid annoying vibrations and uniform humming noises. For additional noise reduction, the fans can be mounted with anti-vibration brackets; alternatively, a classic screw connection is also possible. A pre-installed NA-FH1 fan hub allows central control of all fans via a single motherboard connector, while pre-routed cables simplify installation.
